Recycling

"Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children" - Ancient American Indian Proverb

Recycling is an important part of being a consumer because most of the materials that compose our shipping boxes and product containers can be recycled. Soda is no exception. Glass, aluminum, and plastic can all be renewed, sometimes over and over, and as consumers of soda we must recycle. Legislation in some states (11 to be exact) enforces a deposit be paid on beverage containers in order to incentivize recycling. The result of this legislation is not only huge gains in recycling rates but less litter as many collect cans and redeem them for profit.
